THE G-WISE AMBASSADORS CLUB
G-WISE Ambassadors Club (GAC) is a groundbreaking youth empowerment and leadership initiative crafted by the G-WISE INITIATIVE. This innovative program is meticulously designed to cultivate the next generation of female leaders and role models, illuminating communities with their exemplary impact. GAC stands at the forefront of fostering personal growth, leadership skills, and a sense of purpose among young girls.
OUR MOTIVATION
What is the Purpose of GAC?
The world is faced with myriads of challenges which range from illiteracy, hunger and deprivation, unequal opportunities, corruption at various levels, environmental degradation, marginalization, etc. Unfortunately, girls and by extension women bear the ugly consequences of these challenges which manifest as child marriages, cycle of generational poverty and health issues. With women and girls making up half of the population of virtually every nation, it’s detrimental to pay lip-service to their development. Girls are future mothers and leaders and as such, they constitute a vital component of family and societal development and should be equipped from an early age to step in and play their part in liberating themselves, their families and communities from the devastating effect of these challenges.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
THE GAP COURSE: Activities of the club will include a leadership course known as the G-WISE AMBASSADORS PROGRAM (GAP). The curriculum for the GAP program is designed from the 6 pillar framework.
SPECIALIZED TRAININGS: Members who successfully complete the 10 week GAP Course will qualify to undergo training on Public Speaking, Good Etiquette Development and Digital Productivity.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Other club activities will include meetings, pep talks, vocational skills activities, interactive and training sessions with experts on relevant fields, career talks, debates, community service activities, counseling sessions, discussions on relevant topics, moral instructions, advocacy visits to community leaders on girls’ needs and school needs, campaign on girls needs, neatness and hygiene etc.
Memberships
Membership of the G-WISE AMBASSADORS CLUB is voluntary and open to all interested girls in the school irrespective of tribe, tongue, religion or ability. Registered members of the club will be known as G-WISE AMBASSADORS
MEETINGS
Club meeting days will be subject to the rules guiding club activities in each school. Final decision on meeting days will be taken by the management of each school.
CONSTITUTION/CODE OF CONDUCT
Every registered member of the club (G-WISE AMBASSADOR) will be entitled to a copy of the club’s constitution. The code of conduct contained in the constitution will guide club members’ activities, meetings and way of life within and outside the school.
LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE FOR THE CLUB CHAPTERS
Girls will choose their chapter officials without interference from the school’s management, or club advisor. However, the management and club advisor will guide and supervise the process. Tenure of office shall be one (1) year, after which new officers will be elected.

CLUB ADVISOR
There will be a club advisor whose core duty will be to reinforce the objectives of the G-WISE AMBASSADORS CLUB. The school management will select a suitable club advisor based on clearly defined qualities. The club advisor must be a volunteer.
